Solar Thermal
The thermodynamic conversion of solar radiation can be performed by using different technologies which collect and harness the thermal power on a fluid. The heat stored by the fluid is then transferred to a traditional power station circuit or used for other purposes.
In the solar dynamic conversion, the radiation is concentrated at a single point called focal line, where the heat pipe absorber is housed, thanks to the geometric properties of the parabolic mirror. The heat pipe absorber is made up of special materials in order to maximize absorption of solar energy and minimize heat loss. The thermal energy is stored in a fluid which can be used either to produce electricity or for air conditioning.
SMEA can provide different size plants specifically designed to meet customer needs.
